The new DriveStation will come with a couple of modes of encryption, where the non-encryption mode lets you view data within by any connected computer, while the full disk encryption mode will utilize the AES 256-bit encryption standard to the maximum. The Buffalo DriveStation HD-CXU2 will come in capacities of 1TB, 1.5TB and 2TB capacities.
