Apacer has once again come out with another nifty media player – the sleek, full HD-lovin’ AL670, Apacer’s follow-up to the AL460. And this one’s got a slew of new features that will put lolo media players to shame.
For starters, the AL670 supports DTS digital-audio formats to enrich video-playing performance and plays videos at a maximum resolution of 1920×1080 pixels in 16:9 screen ratio, from traditional AVI and MPG to H.264 and MKV. And as expected, it has the ability to show photos as well, making it a complete multimedia machine.
But perhaps the thing that has made us wet in bed is its networking capabilities. Just connect your flash drive or external hard drive to the Apacer AL670, and you can get on with your “buhay baboy sa bahay” life. Connecting to a computer network and playing files from there without having to transfer files to external drives is also possible.
During the transition period, when the TVs have been upgrading from the use of analog signals to that of digital signals, the market is flooded with multiple selections of signals and terminals. In order to meet the complete need in the market, AL670 supports a variety of I/O ports. For output, it provides component video output, AV output, HDMI output and Optical output. For input, besides the existing dual USB ports for connecting with USB drives and external Hard Disk, there is network connection as well for direct access to network computers.
