The 2008 A4 is a 2- or 4-door, up to 5-passenger luxury convertible, luxury sedan, or luxury wagon, available in 14 trims, ranging from the 2.0 T to the 3.2 Cabriolet quattro with Tiptronic.
Upon introduction, the 2.0 T is equipped with a standard 2.0-liter, I4, 200-horsepower, turbo engine that achieves 20-mpg in the city and 31-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard. The 3.2 Cabriolet quattro with Tiptronic is equipped with a standard 3.2-liter, V6, 255-horsepower engine that achieves 17-mpg in the city and 25-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard.
The 2008 A4 is freshened for 2008.
Launched in the United States for the 1996 model year, the Audi A4, with its lively character and polished look, started the brand’s metamorphosis into an icon of performance and design.
The third-generation A4 should be similarly transformative when it debuts in early 2008. Revised powertrain packaging will allow the A4’s longitudinally mounted engines to move four inches rearward, thanks to a more compact clutch and differential. The engine lineup will remain the same (with a bit more power): a 210-hp, 2.0-liter turbo four; a 265-hp, 3.2-liter V-6; and, in the S4, a 4.2-liter V-8 making 350 hp. Each will come with a choice of a six-speed manual or a seven-speed version of Audi’s DSG transmission. The next A4 also gets a new four-link front suspension, a revised rear setup, and a 60 percent rear-biased torque split for the all-wheel-drive system. These changes, together with more equally balanced weight distribution, should make for markedly sportier handling.

The 2008 A3 is a 4-door, 5-passenger luxury wagon, available in 3 trims, ranging from the 2.0 T to the 3.2 With DSG.
Upon introduction, the 2.0 T is equipped with a standard 2.0-liter, I4, 200-horsepower, turbo engine that achieves 21-mpg in the city and 29-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard. The 3.2 With DSG is equipped with a standard 3.2-liter, V6, 250-horsepower engine that achieves 18-mpg in the city and 25-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard.
Introduced a decade ago in Europe, redesigned in 2003 and introduced to the U.S. market for 2006, the A3 is Audi’s entry-level model for the North American market. Roughly a foot shorter and about 400 pounds lighter than an A4 2.0T Avant quattro, the front-drive Audi A3 2.0T Sportback presents a strong argument for buying a bargain sport wagon, provided one goes easy on the options. With the same powerful turbocharged engine as its bigger brother, the A3 performs like a sport sedan that happens to have a maximum cargo capacity of 56 cubic feet, just 3 cubes less than its larger sibling. And just because this is Audi’s entry-level car doesn’t mean the company cut corners on quality. The cabin’s design and materials are up to the lofty standards that Audi has set for the industry, meaning everything fits tightly, moves with precision and looks and feels top-shelf.
As with the rest of the Audi family, the A3’s chassis strikes an agreeable balance between athletic handling and a comfy ride. Its electromechanical steering does a superb job of dampening out unwanted road vibrations and kickback without marring the sublime feedback enthusiast drivers crave. And the advanced four-link rear suspension combines with McPherson struts up front to keep the A3 buttoned down without transmitting harsh road impacts to the cabin.
The 2008 A3 is a carryover from 2007.

The Audi TT is a terrific sports car with sharp handling and a refined feeling throughout. It’s a small car with a small cockpit and a small trunk, but if your driving and/or commuting styles match up to this car, you will find it a very rewarding piece of equipment that still catches the eye of the beholder.
Audi’s TT sports car has aged surprisingly well since its 2000 model year U.S. debut and is still a head-turning design despite the influx of outlandishly styled models. A redesigned TT is on its way, however, and should hit U.S. dealerships next spring as a 2008 model.
Longer and wider than the first-generation TT, the 2008 TT Coupé uses Audi’s Aluminum Space Frame technology and is powered by a turbocharged four-cylinder engine or a V-6. Redesigned TT roadsters debut later.
The Audi TT is a terrific sports car with sharp handling and a refined feeling throughout. It’s a small car with a small cockpit and a small trunk, but if your driving and/or commuting styles match up to this car, you will find it a very rewarding piece of equipment that still catches the eye of the beholder.
The 2008 TT sports Audi’s new trapezoidal grille, which bisects the front bumper. The slit-like headlights and lower grille styling lend the TT a sinister appearance. Like the current TT, the 2008 version has a gracefully arching roofline. Wheels as large as 19 inches in diameter are available.
The TT’s body is 69 percent aluminum and 31 percent steel, with the steel pieces located at the back of the car for optimal weight distribution. The new TT Coupé also features one of the latest trends in sports cars: a powered spoiler that deploys when the car hits 75 mph.
The new 2008 Audi TT is longer by almost 5 inches and a bit wider and taller. Wheelbase and front/rear track dimensions have grown by about 2 inches. But because of the extensive aluminum content in the TT’s structure (69 percent by weight), torsional rigidity is up and overall curb weight is down.
As before, the TT relies on either a turbocharged four-cylinder or a normally aspirated V6 for power. The four-cylinder is Audi’s latest direct-injection mill, but the V6 is a carryover. A new suspension design and electric-assist steering rack with speed-sensitive assistance are said to improve handling precision. Audi is also offering new adaptive “magnetic ride” dampers that automatically adjust within milliseconds to improve both ride quality and handling.
With the previous TT’s interior and exterior designs being its most endearing aspects, Audi has logically chosen to keep the updates purely evolutionary, especially on the outside. The look is a little more masculine now and features Audi’s latest signature single-frame grille. A retractable rear spoiler rises at highway speed to reduce aerodynamic drag.

And that’s just the beginning. As you can see from the Audi S8 picture above, the car looks great, too. Many people come to our site looking for 2008 Audi S8 wallpaper. If you’d like that, or you’d just like to gather additional information about the car, please bookmark this site and check back frequently. Let the Audi S8 do what it does best, ramp up your driving enjoyment.
The Audi S8 is an extremely fast, hard-accelerating luxury sedan that exhibits none of the ride and comfort compromises that too often limit the appeal of more hardcore sport sedans, such as Audi’s own compact RS 4.
The Audi S8 is this German automaker’s flagship performance sedan. Debuting at the start of the new millennium, it was the third vehicle for the North American market to bear an “S” badge. Used to showcase Audi’s performance engineering, S- and RS-badged vehicles compete directly against other automakers’ performance models from divisions like BMW’s M and Mercedes-Benz’s AMG. As a high-luxury, high-performance and high-tech platform, the S8 is the standard-bearer in Audi’s arsenal.
Owners, dealers and other experts of the 2008 Audi S8 agree, there is no car that can impress more in combining sporty flair with comfort and luxury. The published articles reviewing the 2008 Audi S8 info about its power plant leave no questions, and take the breath away. The sprint from zero to 100 km/h takes the S8 a total of 5.4 seconds, the performance potential of a sports car produced by the 4.2 l V8 power unit. Consult your dealer about leasing or buying a new 2008 Audi S8.

The S6 incorporates a 435 hp V10 engine, Quattro all-wheel-drive, and a level of technical sophistication that few cars achieve. It has daytime running LED driving lights, 19″ aluminum wheels, dual-zone climate control, navigation system, and Multi Media Interface high-end radio. Unfortunately, it doesn’t come in a manual transmission and owners are penalized with a $1,300 gas guzzler tax in the US.
With enough power to have some real fun, the 2008 S6 fills the Audi mid-size performance slot. That 435-hp, 5.2-liter V-10 from Lamborghini lays out a consistently high torque plateau throughout the rpm spectrum. All this performance is mediated through a 6-speed automatic with overdrive while the essence of the car is unchanged for 2008.
With classy yet understated elegance, the interior of the S6 is a strongly masculine domain, accented with leather and rare wood. Equipped with up market AM/FM stereo and CD changer, the only sound sweeter than the V10’s exhaust note is the concert-quality sound track you’ll be hearing. The gray headliner is a perfect match for the muted tone of the wood accents. S6’s instrumentation is easy to read and logically organized.
Powerful as the S6 is, its virility is tempered with state-of-the-art safety features such as: front and rear curtain airbags, front and rear seat torso airbags, and Quattro all-wheel drive. As a testament to that point, the IIHS (Insurance Institute for Highway Safety) chose the Audi S6 as a Top Pick for frontal, side, and rear crash test safety.
The Audi S6 is unique for skipping the evolutionary progress common to most cars, as its performance leaps by one league at a time. From a 227-horsepower five-cylinder in the first S6 to a 340-hp V8 in the next and finally to the 435-hp V10 of today, the S6 has been a reflection of Audi’s rapidly rising performance aspirations.
